African medical student poured boiling water on mother he tried to rape

A cruel medical student poured boiling water over a mother who fought
off his attempts to rape her.

Sileshie Woldeyes Beyene stripped his 28-year-old victim of her
clothes and tried to force himself on her at his Brighton flat.

But when she resisted he grabbed a catering-size saucepan of boiling
water from the stove and threw it over her naked body and face
shouting, “I have destroyed your face so no one can look at you
again”.

The 43-year-old was yesterday jailed for 15 years for the brutal
assault.

Beyene befriended his victim and lured her to his flat in Walpole
Terrace, Brighton, where he attacked her on August 18 2008.

His victim was left horrifically scarred and can hardly walk from her
injuries.
