You may be new to these Usenet groups and heard the term viatology for the first time. So what does it mean? In its simplest definition, viatology is the scientific study of roads. By employing the scientific method in studying roads, measuring them, and sharing findings w/ the worldwide community, viatologists help define the network of roads that criss-cross all inhabitable continents. For more information on viatology, including its etymology and foreign translations, please visit http://wwtl.info/viatology.html . As roads become more scientifically analysed in the scientific and scholastic communities, domestic and abroad, viatology may one day become a legitimate science like biology, astronomy, or zootology.
