Very true, I was thinking if it was just one tyre down (hence saying "a" flat). I would think on the Xant it would be easy not to notice if a rear was flat when setting off. I had a rear one blow at "high motorway speeds" on the last year, I didn't even notice until I smelt the burning and heard a funny whirring noise.
