I've given-up - for now. As soon as the weather got damp again the
connection decided to stay nailed up. I can't justify BT billing me
£160+VAT even if they do invisibly fix a fault - the hassle & stress of
trying to recover it from them isnt worth it, and I suspect this is a
deliberate tactic on their part.

So right now, the SNR Margin and attenuation figures I see are muhc
worse than that of my neighbours - I'm currently syncing at 7392000
which is fine - just irritating that it's not the full speed when
clearly it ought to be, given my location in relationship to the
exchange and my neighbours settings.

And BT have the cheek to phone me once a month and ask why I don't use
them for phone calls!

Gordon
