Sky Netgear router problem

Hi

I have Sky Max broadband with a V1 white Netgear router.  Recently on
several occasions (about 4) it has seemed to just stopped working.  When
this "lock up" happens I have no internet access and I also can't connect to
the PC from the Xbox (to steam videos).

Only way to get it back on is to pull the power cord out and re-boot.  Is
this an indication that the router is on it's way out?  I have had Sky BB
for approx 18 months now with this router.
