Nuisance call - any ideas?

I have received a call from a 'Withheld' number. Normally I don't
answer these but this time I did. It was an automated call with an
option to press 5 to speak to an advisor. I pressed 5. As soon as I
said that I wanted my details removed the 'advisor' replied: "Why
don't you shut the f**k up?" I said, "Pardon". He then said: "You
heard what I said. I'm not going to repeat myself" and hung up.

The initial message was about credit card debts and said that
according to solicitors something like 60 or 70% of debts before a
certain year (in the 90s I think) were unenforceable. Does anyone
know from this script who is responsible preferably with a contact
phone number?

I then phoned BT malicious calls, who told me that there was nothing
they could do if the number was withheld. I said I thought BT was
able to look behind the 'withheld' and trace the number but she said
this was only possible where there was a trace on the line. Is this
correct?

Any ideas what I can do?

Scott
