We currently have a Siemens DECT C475IP system as our main home phone and, in the main, it works pretty well. However there is one minor gripe, there is one old, non-DECT, phone also on the line and if we answer with that the DECT system doesn't notice and flashes its 'missed call' indicator. I don't quite see why this *has* to be so as the DECT system should be able to 'see' the call being answered shouldn't it? It must be able to, it stops ringing when we pick the old phone up, so why does it claim it's a missed call? Are there any corded phones (and/or DECT systems with a corded phone) which:- Don't exhibit the above problem (presumably any corded/DECT integrated setup would be OK). Allow the corded phone to be situated in a *different* location from the DECT base station. This is the difficult one I suspect, the base station sits in an unused room upstairs whereas I'd like the corded phone on my desk for emergency (power cut etc.) use. Are generally as good as the Siemens in other respects. ... or can my problem be fixed? -- Chris Green[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
