We have a Humax 9200 PVR The set shows the time when it is on and also shows the time when the go to stand-by button is pressed on the remote control to get into a standby condition when connected to the mains. But when we get up in the morning there is no time shown -just lines where the time would be. Whilst the set is under guarantee living where we do it will take ages to get it back to anyone and then it has to come back to us. I wondered if there is an internal battery which powers the clock timer in stand by and if it would be easy to replace it? I have read somewhere that it is a difficult job on some (computer) motherboards. How long should it need the power on for it to be fully charged and how long in this state would it last for? We miss some middle of the night and early morning and the next few days recordings because of this. They remain in the recording schedule. An alternative reason for this problem might be that one of the settings is incorrect but as far as I recall they remain unchanged. Power on and off times seem the most likely - both these are at off. The manual is not very helpful. Sorry to ask here about this but Humax are pretty unresponsive unless they are selling things to you. There are lots of items about these things that turn up on lists but this is regular as opposed to a lock up/occasional problem.. The set has been switched off and back on a few times using the switch at the back hoping that this would reset things. -- PK Remove the xtra y from my name in the email address if replying[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
