I listen regularly on short wave, on the 160m/1.9 MHz band in the evenings. Just recently there has been some very strong local interference across the band -- a continuous rasping sound -- that completely blots out all received signals. Usually shortly after 10pm it gradually reduces in intensity for 2-3 minutes, after which it disappears completely. Is this behaviour typical of a plasma TV perhaps? I would have expected the noise to cease abruptly when switching a TV off, not gradually diminish. Or is it perhaps something else? Ideas anyone? -- Ian[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
