Even the simplest of topics baffles Pope and morality is one of them.
The Bible has passages that have murder, rape, slavery and incest so I'm
not really sure it's a good place to look for moral guidance.

You really have to wonder how the civilisations that pre-dated Christian
coped without morals -- I'm surprised they survived at all.
