Hi all,
just wanted to keep you a bit informed about my current plans:

I will start next weekend, going clockwise. The first part will take me to
the Ijsselmeer/Holland to visit friends for a couple of days and do some
checks .
(plan to arrive on the 28th July in Lemmer/Ijsselmeer)

The next part should take me to Cornwall . Do you agree that this is worth a
visit a couple of days? Any suggestions ?
I still have to buy charts. Is the Imray Chart Set "2400 West Country "
adequate?
I suppose that buying charts and guides in UK will be possible in larger
coast towns, is that right?
(plan to arrive around the 8th of Aug, leave on 16th, heading for Dublin)

On the 29th or 30th Aug I want to pick up my girlfriend somewhere on the
coast of the Irish Sea or maybe at Oban and sail with her for some 12days to
Inverness. The idea is basically to book a two-way-flight for her to
Edinburgh and to take a rental car to pick her up and drop her. (Edinburgh
seems to suit better than Glasgow). She has to leave on the 12th Sept. I
also suppose that a day trip through scotland by car could be very
interesting. Flights from Hamburg to Oban and Inverness back to Hamburg
seem not that practical (expensive and time-consuming)
Suggestions or hints for my girlfriend´s travel are welcome, for example
good "pick-up places" (not what you think now ;-) on the west coast .

I already ebayed me Imray charts C64 and 65. Made me really very exited
about going there

So probably around mid of Sept I am going to leave Scotland for Thyboroen,
Denmark.

However, if wheather or other reasons should speak for, what do you think
about winter garaging somewhere around Oban or the Caledonian? Where is it
possible?

So once again a lot of questions, exited to read from you,
many greets from a rainy northern German sunday,
Heiner
