Is there some part of UK and HUMOUR that is beyond you?

WW1 1914 - 1918. 7 months US was part of the World War 1.
WWII 1939 - 1945. US involvement December 7th 1941 to end.

You should not knock the Senior Service as they will most surely kick your
arse..
At least they would have done before UK plc went communist.
