This is not a plug, as I haven’t actually seen this new rail atlas yet, it will not be published until end of November. In this month’s Railway Magazine there’s a full-page advert from Platform 5 Publishing for a new UK rail atlas that would appear to be, in effect, Baker meets Quail all in one volume. From the example maps shown, it’s a too scale geographic atlas but displaying full track formations and all the other detail we’re used to from the Quail track plans. It would appear to be to a very fine level of detail, with use of colour, and if it turns out to be everything promised and described would look to be an absolutely essential purchase.[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
