Perfectly safe in a Proper SAAB. Safe in owt else without servo'd brakes
(admittedly and sadly rare now) unless you're stupid enough to turn the
key to the "locked" position, in which case Dr Darwin has his way.

'course, in anything with electronically-controlled injection you do
better letting the engine brake the car with the throttle/injectors
closed..
