The Sydney Telegraph newspaper (which is a bit like some of your British tabloids) a year or so back published a picture of a train driver with a newspaper in front of him in the cab window, with a beat up story about how trains were unsafe with such driver attitudes. When I enlarged the image I could clearly see that the newspaper was upside down, so it was very unlikely the driver would have been reading it. Later it came out that the reporter concerned had been busted for fare evasion, and was trying in his own way to get back at the railway administration.
