You could visit them this weekend - BUT the entrance fee is a tad
expensive for the little of what's on show.

I don't think these guys really recovered from being kicked out of
their original home in the GWR arches to make way for a light
industrial warehouse complex; to be followed by being totally kicked
out of the whole site by the abortive Flying Scotsman Enterprises org.

Certainly the remains of a rusty old loco. (a Black 5 or something?)
jacked up in the open and sans fittings and cab doesn't do the site
any favours. Nor does the badly deteriorating water tower. And just
recently their rake of Southern green coaches was badly hit by the
local graffiti vandals. I wouldn't be surprised if the local scrap
metal dealers have gotten their sights on some of the apparently scrap
metal lying around the site too.
