Perhaps that's because there's a Saver Return at £16.50 route Ely, and
another Saver Return at £23.50 route Not London.

A valid combination of maps between Cambridge and Peterborough is ER
+WA. It seems to me that using WA from Cambridge to Stevenage then ER
from Stevenage to Peterborough makes this a permitted route.
