When it was opened, what little seating there was (3 rows of 4 at the platform 14 end, and two rows of 3 at the other end, if I recall rightly) was removed from the platforms themselves. It was a good idea in principle, though I don't know how well-used it is, and it seems to be closed at night which is likely to be the time when those platforms are at their coldest and most windswept.
