Re: no advance fares to Carlisle?

Probably because there are now two train operators - Virgin West Coast and
Arriva Cross Country for the West Coast Route from Bristol.  When Virgin
operated West Coast and Cross Country things would be a little simpler.

There will be no through trains from Britsol to anywhere North of Stafford
on the WCML after December

East Coast youve got Arriva Cross Country all the way.
