Are there two sorts of Pendolino, and I've only ever managed to catch
the ones with a perfectly decent window view in nearly all seats
(aside from the one wall-facing pair on each side) and comfortable,
supportive seats with plenty of shoulder and legroom, and not the ones
where the seats face downwards and are made of spikes?
