I wonder if anyone has created a databse with photos of the variety of buffer stops to be found on the railways. These range from the huge hydraulic stops say at Ealing Broadway or Paddington, down to a simple pile of sleepers at the end of a disused siding. Some were made from the disused rails themselves. There seems to be enough varieties out there to keep any train enthusiast buffer stop spotter busy for decades. CJB.[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
