A little more information, gleaned from a conversation with a staffer from NXEA on the platform at Chelmsford this morning... In addition to the 3 sets forming the 17.20 that was under the wires when they came down (apparently getting the cables tangled around the bogies, possibly the reason for the damage to the gantries?) four other sets were damaged. The driver of the 17.02 ex-Liverpool Street was the first person to report a problem, and 2 sets on that train and 2 on the 17.12 were also damaged. Those trains (both 321s) completed their runs but were then taken out of service; all the damaged sets are now back at Ilford. NXEA are stating that there will some short-formed trains for the next few days! Martin D. Pay Who couldn't believe this evening's events... @_@[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
