There's more to it that just attaching the CE marking.

There is a Document of Conformity available from the manufacturers in
the case of a genuine CE mark.

CE mark is highly over-rated anyway - just look at any PLT device -
where the CE mark is present, but they plainly don't pass the EMC regs.
