I thought that these checks simply come up with a list of transgressions - and possibly a few 'secret comments' if the local police thought that you looked like a villain, but didn't actually have anything on you. I would have thought that a few relatively minor motoring offences would have absolutely no bearing on your suitability for being involved with legal cases involving children.
