706 back in the car

I am thinking about going mobile again with my 706 in the car.
Previously, I have used a boot mount with not much success. Now I am
looking at putting a ladder bar on the roof.

I was down at Nevada last week looking at options and there is something
in the shop that will let me put a mount on one, and my question is this.

At HF bonding to the car body is very important. What I am thinking of
doing is to bond to the car through the bolts that are used for the
interior grab handles just above the doors.

What size of copper braid would I need, assuming the Hustler was mounted
adjacent to the door? The length of braid would be about 12 inches, or
300 mm for the frog lovers :-)
