The WW contest - my 10 pence worth...

The talk on most of the HF bands this morning is about the WW contest this
weekend gone...the behaviour of some of the contesters and their manners,,,

There is a point I would like to put across...WHY does it have to be a
weekend contest!!..surely if it's that big a deal (and it seems to be for
the majority of the contest operators) a couple of midweek days would be the
best all round...Tuesday and Wednesday say...if they're that serious book
those days as holiday...

There are those that only have weekends to "play" radio and don't want to be
caught up in the melee of this weekend gone...or the weekend prior to
that...
