I just check the router as suggested. Its Linksys fairly new. I am not sure on ADSL2+ compatibility. But one of Orange guys said I would get a new router. There original one was useless. Figures from router are. Downstream margin 10db Upstream margin 20db Downstream Line Att 44db Upstream Line Att 13db Downstream Transmit power 12db Upstream Transmit power 21db. When I first check the Router it gave Downstream Rate 1712 kbps I switched it off and then on again and it came back with D-R 5819.kbps It always dropping down in speed. Do they do that on purpose ? Is it normal.? My apologies for the long OT..Topic. de Johnny G3LIV Is it normal ?[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
