True, true.
And, these days, is there really much demand for CB (for the purpose for
which it was originally conceived? A lot of its potential functions have
now been replaced with mobile phones (especially for local communication
between family members, friends, local groups etc). And for really local
stuff, we have PMR446. No, it's probably best left where it is. After
all, it isn't causing much harm.
