I don't think that is true. I think the contributor list would be very
different, which would remove much of the abuse, but I don't think it would
fold. (If you check those who tend to hurl the abuse you will find they
rarely, if ever, offer a worthwhile input on the topics related to amateur
radio.) I can think of several other groups which are doing rather well,
simply because the troublemakers are kept out. People don't always agree in
those groups and sometimes can't even agree to differ but they don't hurl
abuse.
