Adam and Eve had no knowledge of right and wrong before they ate the fruit,
so they did not know it was wrong. God placed the tree in the garden so that
he would have an excuse to downgrade his creations. Doesn't that make God
look pathetic? Gods plans were partly thwarted by a wonderful angel known as
Satan, who sacrificed himself for us. God told Adam he would die the day he
ate from the tree. Satan said he would not. The Bible says that Adam lived
on for many years. So God lied and Satan told the truth. Satan told Adam
that when he ate from the tree his eyes would be opened and he would know
right from wrong, aka have free will. The Bible says that is what happened.
Again Satan told the truth. God did not want humans to have free will.
