I recently got a new computer specifically to run some radio- related programs. Unfortunately, this was not made clear to the dealer, and the machine radiates noise (presumably from the power supply) at S9+30 or more right across the HF spectrum. A ferrite suppressor on the mains lead makes damn-all difference. Looks like I'll have to replace the power supply (unless anybody here has any better ideas). Can anyone recommend a make of power supply which is known to be noise-free? -- Bill Borland (G3EFS)[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
