Yet another on topic thread... I bought - from a local emporium - yesterday a bit of coax and a handful of pl259's to suit...the centre lobes would not tin!!..as much as I tried they would not tin!!.. I use a 25 watt soldering iron...I found a couple of plugs in a drawer and used them...not a problem...solder flowed beautifully...
