Re: Configuring your news reader to post to uk.*

Demon's news server seems rather flakey at the moment (forcing me to change
clients apart from anything else), and in any case I was considering
stopping the 'Configuring your news reader to post to uk.*' posts (the
ukpost FAQ).  This is for several reasons including (a) less time on my part
and (b) less need for the FAQ itself - there don't seem to be as many new
users on Usenet any more, and just about everyone knows how to configure
their client properly or doesn't care.  New clients seem to come set up for
plain text posting by default.

If anyone thinks that the FAQ is still worth posting and wants to volunteer
to take over then I will send over source code, scripts etc. to someone who
seems reliable and capable.
