Death of a Laager - the end of the Aryan cult - and why the UK media industry and political scene have rapidly taken a nosedive! - hope is on the way!

A circle cult is a group of people who keep their knowledge, wealth
and power within their circle and restrict the membership of that
circle so that those within keep a position of advantage over those
outside the circle.

In the 1970s it was quite common to have "closed shop" workplaces
where only members of a particular trade union were allowed to fill
posts. Thatcher banned this in the 1980s - interestly entertainment
unions are excluded from this. The more cynical minded wonder what the
"deal" for entertainment industry unions was- anyone noticed the
gradual disappearance of anti-establishment entertainers and artists
in the UK media?

A great example of the literal circle cult was the wagon circles or
laagers that the Boers formed in Africa when threatened by natives.

Circle cults strike a problem though. The development of the Co-
operative society. The principle difference is whereas the circle cult
places strict and often bizzarely arbitary (to those outside the know)
conditions on membership, the Co-Op consists of members who volunteer
themselves though motives of universal alterism , and recommendations
from other members. Co-ops have a heirarchy based upon meritocracy.
Secrets are not a requirement in a meritocracy- God can see everything
and people who can see God can see through God's eyes. What have the
God-fearing got to hide from God? Circle cults tend to exibit snobbery
in they regard themselves as keeping the plebs out.

The only time where there is a moral obligation to keep secrets is to
keep others from harm - for instance not revelealing the identity of a
fellow freedom fighter to the illigitimate authorities. This is not
usually necessary in societies with an advanced legal system as they
are not usually in breach of the law, and suspicion will fall on
anyone operating outside of it.

Normally it's a question of secrets. For example the "Aryan" circle
cults promote pale skin as blushing shows up more in such people, and
embarrasment, and shame can be used to keep the secrets within.

Those loyal to God have no fear of what people think because they are
below the universal in the order of the universe. The "all seeing eye"
of God can see everything. God seems to be the entity who decides who
lives or dies , not the guy next door. And only when neighbours are
both looking UP at God can they be assured not to be looking up to or
down from one another.

A recent example of a co-operative system has been the open software
foundation aka gnu or linux - it doesn't matter who you are or where
you are from if you write the best code it gets on the best systems.

Recent legal and business developments have been interesting with for
instance the software industry looking towards co-operation with the
co-op system. Google Chrome OS and etc some extent Apple OSX draw on
elements of Linux - why re- invent the wheel? Modern companies are
taking those who have proved their talent in the public domain sector
and offering them commercial posts. After all they've been decent
enough people to volunteer their time, why would they fail a properly
run and ethical commercial concern.. Other industries such the media
industry sadly take a different view- write for creative commons and
it's a ticket to a blacklist for many , particularly those involved in
the polical and legal side of such arrangements who are also content
creators. It's got to the point in music where in terms of new
material there's better stuff available through free legal download.
It fits the mash up DJ culture very well, gives fans involvement too.
They can put an alternative guitar solo on their fave bands rock
anthem on some sites... how cool is that.

The great shame for the time being is that the software industry has
shown that open source technology can actually provide many more
business oppotunities , with commercial developers filling in the gaps
in free software to make a highly efficient and specialised product of
considerably improved usefulness to the user.

Whereas in the "circlist" media industry blacklists have become
dwindling whitelists- as the talent pool contracts and more are thrown
out , there is left less and less talent in the circle.

Except money.

But money is only worth something if people regard it as exchangeble
for goods. If a few people have for instance all the gold and diamonds
in the world , providing there's just enough for necessary industrial
use, it's only a metal or a stone at the end of the day isn't it?
