I am being thorough consistent. If the proposed alternative is way more expensive, then as far as I am concerned, it does not exist as an alternative. A choice on my terms has to involve a reasonable price difference, not a massive price difference - unless it is in my favour. As long as the difference is reasonable, I can choose on the basis of other criteria, such as friendliness of staff, cleanliness of store and so on. >Now, do you have a choice between Tesco and Budgens? See above. If goods at Budgens were roughly the same price as at Teco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury's, then I might consider shopping at Budgens as well as at the other.
