my father in laws car failed its mot and was beyond repair, it was parked outside his daughters flat but still had 5 months road tax left on it, i declared sorn on his behalf and he was re-imbursed for the road tax. The flat has a notice outside stating that it was private car parking. A few days ago the vehicle was clamped and then the nex day towed away, a DVLA card ref CLE1271/102 was left which basically states that the release fee is £200 plus £21 per day storage to get it out the pound, the car is worthless, can i just leave it in the pound? where do i stand legally, especially with the notice stating it was a private car park? cheers Stephen[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
