Sadly regular users of a route know where the cameras are and just slow down for them - then speed up again. You can't really do that with speed bumps. And there's no doubt they slow the traffic down. For each of the ones here who say they stick to a 30 limit there are hundreds that don't. So both lots get penalised equally. I have a dog, and my route to the common involves a rat run. Before the speed bumps it was near impossible to cross - traffic hammered down it at silly speeds. Now they don't. QED, I'm afraid. -- *People want trepanners like they want a hole in the head* Dave Plowman dave@davesound.co.uk London SW 12[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
