I know the feeling... we were flooded out on Friday night (just north of
Monmouth) - three outbuildings completely swept away - including my office -
all the goats and one of the cats drowned, one of the cars was completely
swept away and ended up 100m down the valley on it's side in the stream.

The ground floor is still about 1m deep in mud and water and one end wall of
the house is falling away.  I suspect complete demolition will be the end
result.  A stone lean-to and the conservatory from the back of the house by
the stream have just *gone* - no trace of them at all.

This was all done in two hours by a stream that's normally 2m wide and 300mm
deep :-(
