Hi, In running ssh-keygen, the dialog will allow me to type in a filename for saving the key - but hits a pb after the "Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase:" prompt. It will not accept alpha characters (and possibly some others) from the keyboard for this phrase; it will only accept enter. And if I try enter to have an empty phrase, and also for its confirmation repeat, it says these entries do not match. :( And I would like to enter a non-empty text string for the phrase anyway. I have been running this as a user. Any help would be appreciated. TIA. Alec -- Alec Ross[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
