Interesting package update that one yesterday! My Kubuntu 8.04.1 had some packages updated via the usual aptitude dist- upgrade method without drama, shutdown, went home. This morning things look, err, different! Why would aptitude do that? Perhaps because Ubuntu is by default a Gnome desktop gui? Any pointers to the files controlling the default gui would be appreciated, thanks. Rgds, Mark. -- Mark Pearson mark [at] l1nux [dot] e u[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
