Interesting article on the BBC article regarding use of fully patched browsers: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7494988.stm with the original report here: http://www.techzoom.net/publications/insecurity-iceberg/index.en I've tried to point this out to Smile and other organisations which still 'support' out-dated version of IE and Netscape. To me, it implies that you're safe browsing the web using these supported browsers. The general public need to be made aware that upgrading/patching your browser is a necessity not 'something to do when I have time'. Unsurprisingly, IE users don't fare to well, but also Opera users aren't much better with up to 43.9% of users not using the most up-to-date version...[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
