Hi Many thanks to all who responded. Taking your advice I've just removed the motherboard to have a close inspection and quite a few of the caps are bulging - one even has a quantity of brown material erupting from the top! I've decide to scrap this mobo and to amalgamate some of the drives with a somewhat newer Dell machine (Dimension 8400) that I've had kicking around for a while. I've now got two graphics cards that I could use - the one from my old machine, and the one that's in the Dell. The Dell one is a NVidia Geforce 6800 Pro and the one out of my old box is a Radeon X800 Pro. What are peoples' views as to the best one to use, as I may as well fit the better one? Thanks again for all advice Andrew Andrew Sayers Lincolnshire UK[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
